Canadian DoP Daniel Everitt-Lock shot his latest short film "Challenger" on the Evolution 2X anamorphic lenses.
Daniel's feedback on the lenses: "The P+S TECHNIK Evolution 2X lenses have a unique character that really draws the eye. The look and feel of vintage Kowa's, without the drawbacks of vintage anamorphic glass. The barrel distortion on the 32mm makes for something really unique for more expressive pieces, and the flaring across the whole focal range makes for some beautiful imagery. Great contrast, none of the vertical distortion of the old Kowa anamorphics, and light enough to throw on gimbals and steadicam with no issues. These lenses have become some of my go to sets for visually striking pieces."
