SKATER Turntable

The SKATER® Turntable is the ideal tool for tabletop photography, miniatures and vfx-effect work. Together with the SKATER® Control it becomes a programmable universal turntable device, which can be mounted in any angle your shot requires.


	Highlights

It gives you full control over speed, acceleration, deceleration, starting and end point of any rotation. No more tries and errors when your shot requires a perfectly matched angle and a slow stop of the object of your filming.

Once connected to the SKATER® Control the system is immediately ready to use and can be programmed within seconds. The turntable is capable of carrying loads of up to 12 kg (26 lbs). Due to its high end machining the SKATER Turntable shows no visible backlash in your shot.

The ridged housing as well as the rotator itself are designed with various thru holes to mount the SKATER Turntable directly onto any board in any angle or to fix a board on the rotator as a turning platform. The SKATER® Turntable can also be directly rigged onto existing light equipment like C-stands, magic
arms, etc with its integrated 16 mm fittings and even the rotator itself is equipped with a centered quick lock for 16 mm pins, which allow mounting of standard rigging devices, drill chucks, additional disks or any kind custom made holding devices.

IMPORTANT NOTE
The SKATER Control units (SCU) that shall be used with the SKATER Turntable must have the software update skater-smp 1.1.10.s19 installed to work smoothly.
SKATER Control units purchased after July 2008 are already prepared to work perfectly with the SKATER Turntable, also indicated by a sticker on the back of the SCU.
SKATER Control units purchase before July 2008 and without a sticker indicating the update may need an software update. For the software update of the SKATER Control update cable (#20173) is necessary as well as the appropriate software. The update cable can be purchased from P+S Technik.
