1| Best of IBC 2009 |
The editorial teams behind TVBEurope and IBC Daily have collaborated to choose the best new product innovations at IBC 2009. We’re proud to announce that we received even two of the Editor’s Best of IBC 2009 awards for the 3D Steadicam Rig AND the 16Digital SR Mag (in conjunction with our partner LMP Lux Media Plan). Especially the 16Digital SR Mag allows you to achieve more for less, the 3D Steadicam Rig answers problems you may not have yet recognised you had. This award proves again that P+S TECHNIK is putting on an important spark for the 3D branch which becomes more and more popular.
By the way, not only the Universal Mirror Rigs, but also the 3D Steadicam Rig is completely motorizable. The optional motorization allows to remote control highly precise adjustments of the interaxial and the stereo base with a consisting set of motors and an electronic lens control system. P+S TECHNIK offers the motorization in combination with the Cmotion or Chrosciel lens control system.

2| Racecam SI-2K |
|
The new Ferrari 458 Italia, follow-up model of the F430, was launched by Michael Schumacher himself at the IAA 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany. To accompany its release, Ferrari produced a special launch video, supported from P+S TECHNIK. Matthias Ruge of the research and development department of P+S TECHNIK packed a few SI-2K Minis and headed to the Mugello Circuit in Italy to do the job. He has done it well and proved, that 4,5 litres cubic capacity and 8 cylinders (= 458) are not too much for the SI-2K: Finally the SI-2K was used for all the POV and monitor shots in the Ferrari video. 4| Review: Hands on HD Workshop in Hannover |
|
The 7th Hands on HD event offered by nordmedia in cooperation with Band Pro Munich met the trend by including a 3D stereoscopy class under the direction of P+S TECHNIK and Virtual Experience. The growing popularity of 3D rigs was reflected by participation: 12 participants - three times more than in 2008 - enjoyed laying hands on 3D equipment provided by P+S TECHNIK. 5| Review: Santa Fe Digital Cinematography Workshop in Amsterdam |
|
The Santa Fe Digital Cinematography Workshop in Amsterdam was supported by P+S TECHNIK. On site were Aki Schirmer, sales representative from P+S TECHNIK, and his demo WEISSCAM HS-2. All the attendees enjoyed laying hands on the latest high-end cameras for digital cinematography very much, as can be seen on the photos posted here.
