After having had a successful start on last year’s Hands on HD workshop, the 3D stereoscopy class will once again be equipped by P+S TECHNIK this year. We support the 3D class with 3D rigs, cameras, and several other devices.
The class will be supervised by the 3D stereoscopy expert Alaric Hamacher (www.virtual-experience.de) from Munich.

Thus P+S TECHNIK is putting on an important spark for the 3D branch which becomes more and more popular.

First aim of the class is to bring the basics of stereoscopy across. Based upon this knowledge several products and recording techniques will be presented before the participants get the chance to really work with the 3D stereo rigs. The class is perfected by dealing with the complete workflow from planning and shooting over to postproduction and screening. Concluding the shot and treated footage will be presented through a genuine 3D projection.

Besides the 3D Stereo Rigs, the digital 35mm high-speed cam WEISSCAM HS-2, the SI-2K and the P+S TECHNIK classics PRO35 and Mini35 will be presented during the one week exhibition and can of course be tested as well.
In order to give the participants an overall perspective about the different camera systems and their specific demands a „X-Over” day was implemented into the schedule. This „X-over day” will take place on 3rd of September, the last day of this year’s Hands on HD event. The “X-over day” can be booked solely, without the workshop.
P+S TECHNIK will provide the cameras SI-2K and WEISSCAM HS-2, so that first experiences with all the different setups, types of cameras and formats can be made hands on.
