The Putora Sharpness indicator HDTV Chart (18 x 23 inches) is designed specifically to high definition equipment, from camcorders to 2/3 inch video.
It incorporates the following for testing high definition camera systems:

- An eleven-step TV gray scale for video setup
- Frequency scale
- 7A9 chart with 9 targets, 10 to 97 lines per millimeter
- Corner and sides resolution targets 2 to 6

The standard set up distance is 60x the focal length of the lens being tested.

The Sharpness Indicator is the most advanced and accurate test chart available.  Any photographer will be able to accurately evaluate the sharpness and resolution of all types of motion picture, video and still camera.

The Sharpness Indicator is made up of test-targets with concentric circles printed on a Reference Field Level background.  The background has the same reflectance as the average reflectance of the targets.  When a target appears to blend with the background, it indicates that the target is beyond the sharpness of the system being tested.

The concentric circles that make up each of the test targets on the Sharpness Indicator are calibrated in the degree of sharpness (DS)

Our latest development is an optional Evolution Upgrade for the Freestyle Rig, which consists of two stronger camera plates designed for heavy camera setups. This Evolution Upgrade modification includes the following features:

• Completely new designed camera adapters to ensure highest stability suitable for heavy camera setups (Alexa, RED, WEISSCAM HS-2 etc.). These adapters are currently used in combination with Arri Alexas e.g. on the current Constantin Production „Musketeers 3D“
• The roll-, tilt- and height-adjustment-mechanisms are much more stable to suit heavy setups.
• Due to the much higher stability the rig’s weight is raised by about 800 grams to 7,5 kg. Thanks to the carbon based design the Freestyle Rig is still more lightweight than the competition!
• The new camera adapters (as well as the older modified lightweight camera adapters) ensure a quick setup, a quick adjustment/calibration and constant stability of settings. This is especially important for broadcast applications.

The Evolution Upgrade ensures a quick setup and calibration process as well as stable alignments for broadcast and digital film applications. A range of ergonomic mounting accessories prepare this rig for steadycam, shoulder, crane and dolly use.

We designed a 3D Calibration Test Chart making it quick and easy to calibrate your 3D Stereo Rig. The 3D Test Chart is printed on mat, non-reflecting and weather resistant laminate. A Calibration Manual is included. With this 3D Calibration Test Chart you’ll never need to improvise again!

To reduce the flexibility of the Sony PMW-EX3 housing we designed a particular reinforcement
bracket (#27229). It can be directly mounted on the standard camera plate (#27022). You’ll need to
order a pair to support both cameras.

To mount broadcast Sony V-Mount cameras on the Freestyle Rig standard camera plate (#27022) we developed a V-Mount accessory (#27023). You'll need to order a pair to support both cameras.

To properly mount the heavy Arri Alexa on the Freestyle Rig we designed a special camera plate for Arri Alexa (#27219). With this camera plate no additional plates are needed to mount the Alexa on the Freestyle Rig. You'll need to order a pair to support both cameras.
