The modular PS-Standard Rig offers a professional and market-approved solution for general 3D production at the best cost-performance ratio since 2008. It is the work horse of the P+S 3D rig family fulfilling the requirements of standard shooting situations in all kinds of production types. Thanks to its modular and rugged design it is fairly lightweight and can be used with a maximum choice of different camera types, especially heavier cine-style cameras.

On March 12th 2012 Alain Derobe, the great 3D-artist and cinematographer passed away. We at P+S Technik want to express our deep sorrow towards his family and friends. Alain was a very pleasant person who will always stay in our memories. He was a great inventor and passionate for filmmaking. Alain Derobe is especially known for his great stereoscopic 3D-work, including masterpieces like “Pina” or the unreleased new Asterix-movie. He encouraged P+S Technik to develop the first serial-production beamsplitter 3D rig, the “Standard Rig” which is also known as the “Derobe-Rig”. His daughter Joséphine and many other stereographers around the world use Alain’s way of creating 3D, the so-called “Methode-Derobe”. Your legacy lives on. Rest in peace Alain Derobe.

Optional Motorization The motorization allows to remote control precise adjustments of
the PS-Standard Rig. With a consisting set of motors and an
electronic lens control system, the interaxial and stereo base
adjustment can be controlled wireless.
P+S TECHNIK offers
the PS-Standard Rig motorization in combination with the Cmotion or Chrosciel lens control system.
