| The 35 BL-Evolution is an upgrade package for ARRI 35
BL cameras. The upgrade consists of separate modules and is suitable
for ARRI BLIII, BL4 and BL4s cameras as well as for 35 BL 400 ft and
1000 ft magazines. The 35 BL-Evolution movement is an optimized version
of the BL4s movement and can be installed into ARRI BLIII and BL4
cameras.
The movement can be exchanged against the BL-movement without modification of the camera. Only the film plate of the old BL movement is used. In order to achieve an utmost noise reduction an overhauling of the camera is imperative. For the upgrade of the movement the camera has to be sent to P+S Technik in Munich. The pitch adjustment of the movement can be operated either with a hexagonal screw-driver or a knob. The new movement in connection with the necessary overhauling of
the body reduces the sound level < 22 dba. |
